Rosie The Riveter Rubber Duck is an American cultural icon used to encourage women to work in factories and shipyards in during World War II. She became perhaps the most iconic image of working women with her "We Can Do It" Campaign. American women entered the workforce in unprecedented numbers during the war, as widespread male enlistment left gaping holes in the industrial labor force.
